Almost Walking

           Amelia is almost walking now!  She has taken a few steps and stands up by herself very well.  The cutest thing is that she dances to anything that sounds like music. When I sing the ABC song, she will bop up and down.  I can’t believe our baby is almost 10 months old already.  Time sure flies by.

            A few months ago, we decided to change her daycare.  It was the best decision.  This new daycare has art lessons, they go outside twice a day, sing songs, and read books.  Today, I noticed that she kept putting a toy up to her ear and babbling.  I then put my phone up to my ear and said “Hello”.  She cracked up!  She did it again and it sounded like she said “hello”.  Her “art” has really progressed too.  They do finger painting and they glue tissue paper to different cutouts.  It makes happy to know that she is learning in this new environment.
